What is the difference between the mentoring and the tutoring program?

Our mentoring program provides one-on-one guidance and career support throughout your studies. A dedicated mentor is assigned to each student, offering advice on career progression, industry insights, and personalized assistance with challenging topics.

In contrast, the tutoring program focuses on delivering structured lessons based on our curriculum. It emphasizes classroom-style learning and problem-solving activities led by our expert tutors. The mentoring program complements the tutoring program by offering tailored support to enhance your learning experience and career readiness.

Who are the mentors and tutors for this program?

Our mentors and tutors are leading practitioners and academics with extensive experience in the finance industry and higher education. They have taught at prestigious universities both in Australia and abroad, providing you with high-quality insights and guidance. All our mentors and tutors have held at least the position of Senior Manager, Associate Director, or Vice President at leading investment banks or Big 4 firms.

Am I able to meet my mentor or tutor before committing to the program?

Yes, after you have signed up for our waitlist, we will inform you if there is space available for you to join. You will then have the opportunity to meet our mentors or tutors in person or online via Teams before fully committing to the program.

How will both the mentoring and tutoring program help me secure a job in finance?

In addition to providing a comprehensive curriculum and practical case studies, the program offers industry insights from our tutors and mentors. They guide you on interview preparation, resume building, and networking strategies, helping you improve your chances of landing a role at a leading financial institution.

Is there a specific start date for the programs?

For the mentoring program, there isn't a specific start date. New students are accepted anytime as long as there is enough capacity within the five-student limit. The tutoring program starts according to the academic study terms, and the next term will begin in September 2024.

How much do the programs cost, and is financial aid available?

The Mentoring Program costs $800 per week, and the Tutoring Program costs $4,800 for the entire 8-week term. Unfortunately, direct financial aid is not available at this time. However, flexible payment options can be arranged upon request.

We also offer an extensive bring your friend program for both programs.

For any referral to the Tutoring Program, you will receive a $400 deduction from your total program cost. There is no limit on the number of friends you can bring, as long as we have seats available.

For the Mentoring Program, you will receive a $200 deduction toward your upcoming payment for each friend you bring along.

What do i need to do: Before your friend signs up for any of our programs, please send us an email with their email address, first and last name, and address. Your friend must sign up using the exact same information you have provided. Once your friend has signed up, we will either deduct the amount from your next payment or refund you any deduction you are eligible for.

Why are both programs so expensive?

We understand that our pricing is higher than traditional tutoring or mentoring services. However, we are the only organisation that provides high-caliber mentors and tutors with extensive experience in both the international and domestic finance industry. Moreover, it's essential to us that all our mentors and tutors have lectured finance courses at the aforementioned institutions to ensure you succeed in your studies.

Think of it this way: our programs usually account for less than 5% of your overall tuition fee. Mastering your subject, excelling in your exams, and securing a job in finance are long-term investments in yourself for years to come.

What is the maximum number of students allowed per Program?

The mentoring program is capped at a maximum of 5 students to ensure highly personalised guidance. For the tutoring program, the maximum capacity is 20 students per term to maintain an optimal learning environment and enable our tutors to provide focused support throughout the program.

Is the tutoring and mentoring service suitable for both bachelor and master students?

Yes, our mentoring and tutoring service is suitable for both new and advanced students. Our curriculum is designed to cover both basic and advanced topics. Our tutors are skilled at explaining and teaching complex subjects in simple terms, benefiting bachelor and master students alike.

You can reach out to your mentor via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WhatsApp, WeChat, phone, or in-person whenever you need help with practice problems, career advice, or understanding financial concepts.

For mentoring sessions, our communication and meeting routine is flexible and depends on each student's needs. This is why the program is limited to 5 students, allowing for a highly personalised experience and ensuring ample one-on-one time with your mentor.

When and where are the Tutoring sessions held, and how long is each session?

Each session is 1 hour long and conducted weekly. All sessions are held in-person at one of our elite Partner facilities located in the heart of Sydney. This ensures a professional environment conducive to learning and interaction with peers. The exact time and location will depend on the cohort, as we aim to choose a timeslot that accommodates students' other university or professional commitments. We will request detailed availability information from each student before ENROLMENT to ensure optimal scheduling.

How does The Tutoring program align with university study terms?

The program's weekly sessions are scheduled to align with the academic terms of UNSW, USYD, and UTS. This ensures that you receive the right training and support when it matters most, without clashing with your university commitments.

Will I receive course materials for the Tutoring Program?

Yes, all necessary course materials will be provided to you. Our tutors will guide you through these resources in an interactive manner to enhance your learning experience.
